Welcome to Accountability & Data Literacy!

The Accountability & Data Literacy Unit supports LEAs in the areas of state and federal accountability, including technical assistance with state assessment systems (CAASPP, ELPAC), CALPADS data collection, the California School Dashboard, LCAP metrics, SARCs, and more. We also provide professional development for school leaders in building a culture of data use to support continuous improvement. We facilitate two networks, the District Assessment & Accountability Network (DAAN) and the CALPADS Network, to provide members with critical assessment, accountability and data collection information and opportunities for collaboration and collective problem solving.
