Attendance Supports
Attendance Matters!
With high chronic absenteeism in Los Angeles County, it is essential to build the capacity of school staff and educational partners to understand what chronic absence is and how to access data to improve student outcomes. Local Education Agencies (LEAs) must actively engage in data analysis discussions to formulate effective responses, resources, and interventions. The LACOE Child Welfare and Attendance team is available to support you as you recalibrate systems to reengage students and families.
